Hi!

I am a Ph.D. passionate about increasing scientific communication and outreach. I became personally invested in science when researching a degenerative retinal disease called retinitis pigmentosa, which I was diagnosed with when I was an infant. During my undergraduate and graduate research, I focused on using biochemistry and structural biology to better understand the molecular basis for certain diseases. While not everyone wants or has the resources to invest this amount of time into developing scientific expertise, everyone should have access to resources to make informed decisions about their health. Let’s build the tools and resources to make this possible.
